The A400M Atlas is a European transport plane with four turboprop engines. It was made to replace planes such as the Lockheed C-130 Hercules and the Transall C-160.
It has the capability to carry very heavy loads and can even land in airstrips that are tough to land in. The A400M is also able to perform medical evacuation and even aerial refueling if the right equipment is added.
The Atlas can accommodate up to four crew members and up to 116 fully equipped paratroopers. Its cargo compartment is 13 feet by 12 feet by 51 feet in size. It has a cruising speed of 485 mph and is 148 feet long.
The engines are Europrop TP400-D6 turboprop engines and it has a wing span of roughly 140 feet. It is even able to accommodate up to 66 stretchers and 25 medical people when needed.
