The Antonov An-70 is a new plane that was designed and developed by the Antonov Aircraft Company. It is an airplane that has been in production since 2008, but it took more than 20 years to develop. There are two variants of this plane currently in existence, with one being used for cargo transportation and the other model being used for passenger flights. The aircraft company expects to sell this plane to many countries around the world due to its versatility and affordability.

It is now being produced at Kiev’s state owned Antonov ASTC plant with Russian assistance. Production has been delayed again since 2012 because of Ukraine’s political crisis, but may resume soon as Russia continues its support for Ukraine in the face of Western sanctions.
